Arts Connection for Monday, December 9 - Ali Matthews - Annual Christmas concert

Ali Matthews (http://www.alimatthews.com/) capped the year off with her annual Christmas concert in one of her home town's more prestigious dining establishments. The annual Ali Matthews' Christmas Celebration takes place in a couple of weeks, crowning a year which included the recording of "I Saw Jesus" with other World Vision Canada artists, launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund another CD and three wins at the GMA Canada awards last month.

Arts Connection for October 28, 2013 - Jeremy Zeyl - "Heidelberg: Songs from the Catechism" CD

Tonight’s guest is one-third of the folk trio Isobelle Gunn. But Jeremy Schat-Zyl’s latest project was a conversion of the Heidelberg Catechism from text to liturgical resource. The CD—The Heidelberg Project—which he worked on with his wife Lara, is being released to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the catechism and can be used as a worship resource and meditative listening piece. Jeremy’s on the phone with us tonight from his London home to talk about the project.
