Tonight’s guest has been writing and recording music since 1999 which has, in the intervening years, garnered five GMA Covenant Award nominations and a Western Canadian Music Award Nomination. Since 2004 a number of challenges have faced singer/songwriter Jaylene Johnson (http://www.jaylenejohnson.com/news) including a head-on accident on the TransCanada Highway and the near-loss of her voice and her new CD Potter & Clay, which will be released this fall, puts into song the lessons she’s learned through her trials and tribulations. Jaylene is on the phone with us from his home in Winnipeg to talk to us about her music and the Potter & Clay CD in a few moments.
