Trevor Dick is an award-winning jazz violinist whose style evokes the sound of Jean-Luc Ponty, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Mark Wood and Canadian violin icon Hugh Marsh. Working with musicians who have formed the backup band for his previous works, the newly-minted Trevor Dick Band (http://trevordickband.com/) recently released the digital version of its new cd New World, which is a departure from some of Trevor’s early work. New World’s world/jazz/folk fusion with classical and pop/rock underpinnings is sure to become a CD player favourite. Trevor talks about the new new CD.
