Irish Beth Maddock (http://www.irishbethmaddock.com/) took a real-life fish story and turned it into a children’s book that she hopes will lure people to the Gospel as well as teach children about the being a voice for the voiceless, respect for all creation along with understanding and compassion. Irish, a published poet and playwright, add children’s author to her credits with the publication of The Great Carp Escape. Irish, who grew up in the Okanagan, now lives in Calgary.
