Theatre of the Beat’s (http://theatreofthebeat.ca) vision is to “create meaningful theatre that both challenges and inspires.” Its latest production, This Will Lead to Dancing is proving both thought-provoking and controversial look at the discussions taking place about whether or not to affirm or welcome the LGBTQ community in the Mennonite Church in Canada. Talking about how this play has been developed and received is the play’s author and Theatre of the Beat artistic director Johnny Wideman.
