Guelph's Lakeside Church (http://www.lakesidechurch.ca) initiated it's first artist-in-residence program this past fall. On Sunday, March 18, AiR Sylvia Woods worked on one of the paintings that will be featured in a June 8 exhibit titled FRUIT.
 
This piece, which will be left for permanent display at the church, represents the symbols of hope and abundance that Joshua and Caleb brought back from the Promised Land in the form of grapes, figs and pomegranates (Numbers 13: 20, 23)
