Jeremy Zeyl's last project was the conversion of a catechism into a liturgical resource. Jeremy Zeyl’s The Heidelberg Project was also intended to be used as a worship resource and meditative listening piece. Now he’s working on a new project which combines live worship, elements of The Heidelberg Project and some new material in what he’s calling Body & Soul—A Worship Collective (http://www.bodyandsoulcollective.com/#body-and-soul-event).

Arts Connection for Monday, November 24, 2014 - Carolyn Arends - "Christmas - The Story of Stories" CD

The result of a more than successful Kickstarter fundraising program, Christmas: The Story of Stories is the first Christmas CD for Carolyn Arends (http://carolynarends.com) in about a decade. Carolyn is now promoting the CD with tours and concerts and is with me on the phone tonight from her home in British Columbia to talk about these new expressions, in song, of the Christmas story.

Tonight’s guest has packed a lot into his young life: he’s established his own art gallery and arts foundation. He’s been awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal and honour as one of Canada’s top 20 under 20. And recently nature artist Josh Tiessen (http://www.joshtiessen.com) has been chosen as the youngest member in two elite international artist guilds: Artists for Conservation and the International Guild of Realism.

In the latest offering of Lost & Found Theatre (http://www.lostandfoundtheatre.com) tonight’s guest plays a former actress, who, along with a failed poet climb into the boiler room of an abandoned hotel on the Prairies to seek refuge from winter and the world. Kathleen Sheehy is also a founding member of the ensemble and it’s artistic director and is on the phone to talk to us about Boiler Room Suite and a concept called Radical Hospitality.

What prompts a pastor to return to his roots as a professional wrestler and become a masked vigilante? The Masked Saint, (http://themaskedsaintmovie.com) a new film produced by Sault St. Marie native Cliff McDowell, is based on the journey of Chris Samuels was celebrated at the Cinefest Sudbury International Film Festival in September.
