In the first two books of the Compassion Series, author Tim Huff has looked homelessness and the disabled. The third book in that series is The Honour Drum (http://castlequaybooks.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=107) and is co-authored by singer/songwriter and politician Cheryl Bear.

High River singer/songwriter Karla Adolphe has had a couple of trying years and recently found herself searching God for the next step in her life and music ministry. After a brief hiatus, and connecting with a friend going through a similar experience, Adolphe and American singer/songwriter Ben Pasley re-formed the group Enter the Worship Circle. The duo has recently released Down Here and Up Above, their first EP.
Two of south-central Ontario’s better-known musicians—guitarist/singer/songwriter Jacob Moon and Newworldson front man Joel Parisien—have joined forces to form The Commissionaires, a new soul-based musical group that has a strong social justice message. The group has been busy in the studio with a recording and planning tour dates and Jacob talks about The Commissionaires.
