Just days after Jared and Bethany Salte were married they started The Royal Foundry and played their first live show at the GMA Awards. And this month the duo will hold a CD release and tour kickoff party. Tonight's guest is Jared Salte, one-half of The Royal Foundry, and a veteran musician and record producer.

Arts Connection for Monday, April 14, 2014 - Celine Singh - Lakeside Downtown's Art of the Cross

Those who have been listening to this program for any length of time know that art evokes emotion, art asks questions and art answers questions. This coming weekend art will be used at Lakeside Downtown (http://www.lakesidedowntown.ca) in Guelph to reflect the Stations of the Cross. Arts Connection for Monday, April 7, 2014 - Ins Choi - Kim's Convenience and Subway Stations of the Cross

Since it was initially produced for the 2011 Toronto Fringe Festival, Ins Choi’s play Kim’s Convenience has had its share of success: opening the 15th anniversary season of the Soulpepper Theatre, being staged recently in Ottawa and Winnipeg and soon to hit the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton. And there’s been talk of both a film and television series versions of the play rooted in both Ins experience as a Korean-Canadian and the story of the prodigal son.
