Arts Connection for Monday, August 1, 2016 - Johnny Wideman - New Theatre of the Beat play: "Yellow Bellies"
Theatre of the Beat has been known to tackle challenging social justice topic such as draft dodging, marriage, justice and homosexuality in its plays. The company’s latest production Yellow Bellies, was performed earlier this month at the Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference and Festival in Waterloo and looked at the stories of Conscientious Objectors during World War Two.
